I am a Master student of Robotics Automation of the European Space Science and Technology (SpaceMaster) program. I currently develop my thesis at the Intelligent Robotics group in Aalto University (Finland) and am interested in robotics, machine learning and vision, specially (but not limited to) Reinforcement and Deep Learning.
The proposed thesis is Transfer of skills learned from simulation to real world and is being developed under supervision of Prof. Ville Kyrki and Murtaza Hazara.
I have participated in several projects related to technology, mostly for robotics, whereas my industrial experience has also been dedicated to one of the biggest robotics and automation company for some years.
Due to the highly interdisciplinary character of my the SpaceMaster program, I had the luck of studying in different universities for different insights:
I hold a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Advanced Studies and Research Center (CINVESTAV) and a B.Sc. in Mechatronics from the National Polytechnic Institute (UPIITA-IPN).
In my Master thesis, a system to control a drone through the recognition of hand gestures was developed at Monmouth University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Wang and Xiaoo Li.
During this staying abroad, I coordinated a small group of students to learn Linux and pattern recognition.
